This has got to be one of the funniest politics related things that I have ever seen. It's a game, but how to explain it. I say just go see. Not recommended for dogmatic conservatives it's THE ANTI-BUSH ONLINE ADVENTURE.

For some of the people I work for. I present The Physics of Baseball

Well, I played Guns N Roses and I have to say it was very nostalgic. Mostly the sounds effects. It's neat, but unfortunately it's nothing like playing real life pinball. I have a hard time seeing myself spending hours playing a pinball emulator. I'd probably download a couple of games just to hear the sounds again. One of the neat things about the VP program itself is that you can design your own pinball machines. I'm not sure how complicated it is, however.

As a pinball afficianado I remember many of the games of the past fondly, and with a bit of sadness, as I never thought I would be able to play them again. How wrong I may have been. Without further ado I bring you VPForums - Complete Pinball Discussion. With this site and it's associates you have access to many of the pinball games of the past in virtual form. I haven't tried it yet, but I am excited to give it a shot. I didn't see Tommy on the list, but I did see Guns n Roses which is one of my favs from the past. Enough chatter, I gotta go try and get VPinMAME to work.

This one's for Dandan, who is into that kind of thing. By which I mean F'ed up sounding sounds.

Welcome to ZOMBO COM! It raises some serious questions vis a vis the web and other important stuff.

This interview is pretty funny if you read Instapundit. Heh. Indeed.

This is pretty funny. It gets better as you go along. This page is kind of a tribute, in a way, to a relationship. The humor is very British, and if you think it's funny enough there's also a mailing list you can subscribe to.

By the way of exposition I present to you the following as a fine example of political doalogue in this country today. Particularly as practiced by blogs and Fox News.

Is capitalism as patriotic as Mom, the flag, and apple pie?

1) Mom - If Mom's job can be done better and cheaper by people in another country I don't see why Mom can't be replaced by foreign workers.

2) The flag - If the flag is made in China and buying it supports socialism, I'm not sure if capitalism is as patriotic as the flag. Also if the flag is on a pair of boxer shorts for sale, I'm not sure if that's patriotic or not. But the flag is undeniably for sale so I would have to say that perhaps capitalism is patriotic.

3) Apple pie - If the apples are grown in Central America maybe not. If the pie is a substandard pie made out of the cheapest available materials, then maybe not. But the ingredients are available for sale in a capitalist system, so maybe.

Let's tally the results.
Capitalism is less patriotic then Mom.
Capitalism is maybe a bit less patriotic then the flag.
Capitalism is about as patriotic as Apple pie

Making capitalism less patriotic then Mom, the flag, and apple pie taken as a whole.

I'm considering putting some things up that are more along the lines of original thought then more of the posts that I have done in the past. The real problem with just doing it is that I don't usually have the time required. Having a fiancee tends to take up almost all of what little free time I have. Anyone who has been engaged, married, or even just dated someone can probably relate to that.

Well, that and working two jobs.

I've been trying to hash out a piece on money as a concept, and I also have some other ideas for things I'd like to write. Some about religion, some about society, some about technology. We shall see.

Generate your very own 10 commandments. And if you don't like them, you can always generate 10 more.
