Congrats to our very own Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA) for being named to the 13 Most Corrupt Members of Congress! Way to go Rick!

I found two things of interesting note. First, I'm really surprised that the worst someone had to do to be the 13th most corrupt congressman was hook a lobbyist up with a bill and cheat taxpayers out of money for one thing. I really am pleased to know that this is all the more corrupt our government is, which of course leads to item the second.
I noticed there are VERY few Democrats listed there. Two of the 13 to be exact. Now, either Republicans are really corrupt, or perhaps this site is misleading.
You'll notice the site is run by CREW, a group that is made up by 3 women: 1 who worked nearly exclusively for the Democratic minority in Congress, 1 who worked for a gun control advocacy group as well as a group specifically targetting "conservative misinformation in the media", and 1 who as far as what was published on the site, cannot be necessarily seen as a democrat or republican. Simply put, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that the Beyond Delay site is presented from a clearly democratic point of view. Basically, they threw two lambs to the slaughter, slapped on a .org ending, and voila, a non-biased web site bringing us the "facts".
Frankly, I'm mildly surprised Jeff posted this site. Not so much b/c of the views expressed by the site, but b/c Jeff usually isn't as quick to reference questionable info. No biggie, I thought the site was funny more than anything, but whatever.

On a related topic, anyone ever notice how misleading the .org or NPO label is? I think people associate not for profit with nonbiased automatically. But really, the two aren't connected at all. Sure, non profits can be nonbiased, but the two are mutually exclusive. I don't know, it's just something I noticed.
